Message #98 1) The North Carolina DNR ordered 600 Reef Balls from Reef Innovations. The units will begin shipping this month. NC plans to deploy the Reef Balls later this summer. 2) Reef Ball Foundation, Inc. has tested a new urethane formulation used to make Mini-Reef Ball Molds (Model Size Reef Balls which are approximately 7 inches wide and 5 inches tall). The new material is less expensive than the material used previously. Therefore, the mini-molds will be available by special order for the next three weeks only at a reduced price of $150 each. (F.O.B. Sarasota, Florida) Because these molds are produced by a custom batch process, they will not be availble for sale again until the next batch is manufacturered (typically every two years). Contact the Reef Ball Office to reserve your mini-molds now.
