Here are some pictures of
the reef balls that were deployed off Pulau Dayang off the
coast of Johore (further east of Pulau Tioman).
Mr.Chee PK of Planet Scuba together with some
of the Mega Dive participants are seen here checking out
one of the balls on the ocean floor |
The following day, this moray eel had already
chosen to take residence inside one of the reef balls.
This ball is one day old |
Another view of that Moray Eel. It is noted
that the base of the reef ball also has a hole and so
the eel is actually sitting on the sandy bed of the
ocean |
The Moray Eel peeping out from one of the
reef ball holes that are designed to create vortex's
that bring food to the centre of the reef
